The brother of Oasis’ Noel and Liam Gallagher has arrived at court after being charged with rape.
Last month police announced that Paul Gallagher, the elder brother of the musicians had been charged with multiple offences, including rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
In a statement to Metro, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022 – 2024. The charges follow an investigation that commenced in 2024. A woman is being supported by specially-trained officers.’
Gallagher, who lives in East Finchley, north London, will have his first hearing at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.

The 59-year-old has now been photographed entering the court to answer to the charges, which are alleged to have taken place between 2022 and 2024.
Soon after being charged, Gallagher was dropped from gigs that he’d been scheduled to play as part of his brother’s reunion tour.
He’d been set to DJ at The Grand Social to coincide with the band’s two sold-out Croke Park shows in Dublin on August 16 and 17.
However, the venue confirmed that he had been removed from the line-up.
It was previously reported that Liam had moved his brother Paul into his £4million mansion in North London ahead of his court date.
