ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run in Allendale County early Wednesday, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
According to a trooper with SCHP, the incident occurred at approximately 4 a.m. July 23 on US 301 at McMillian Memorial Road.
An unknown vehicle was traveling north on US 301 as a pedestrian was walking the same direction. The pedestrian was struck and succumbed to injuries on the scene, and the vehicle left the scene.
The SCHP is investigating the incident.
