People have spotted what they’re calling a “secret new couple” forming on Love Island 2025. If this is what it looks like, there’s mess in store for the rest of the villa.
We’re now a good few weeks into Love Island this year, so there should be some solid couples. But is anyone else just not convinced by anyone? There are hardly any seemingly real connections, and who’s cracking on with who is changing every day. So, it’s probably no surprise people think there are couples forming behind the scenes.
We’ve just had the iconic heart race challenge. Which as well as being the most entertaining episode there is, is very good at seeing if anyone has the hots for someone they’ve not let on. And people have spotted one result that hints at just that. Ben’s heart rate was increased the most by Alima.

It’s no surprise. Alima came out in lace underwear looking absolutely jaw dropping, and snogged Ben’s face off. But, was anyone else thinking he didn’t react like it was a shock? He got stuck straight into that snog like he was very much used to it happening.
“Alima and Ben could be cute,” one person said. One more added: “There is something going on between Ben and Alima but I have no proof.” A third said: “Is there something we’re not seeing cos why are Alima and Ben kissing each other??”.
It seems there is something we’ve been missing. “There is actually a vibe between Ben and Alima, saw them in a lot of background shots chatting,” someone else said. “They have good chemistry. Ngl don’t hate it.”

More noted that Ben has been looking a certain way at Alima recently. One said: “Honestly the way Ben be looking at Alima sometimes. Only in another universe MAYBE but unfortunately not here.”
