Eagle-eyed Love Island viewers have spotted a ‘secret romance’ blossoming in the villa that hasn’t been shown in any of the episodes.
While Toni and Emilie were having a tense chat in the garden about that savage “boring” comment, people noticed that Shakira and Shea were getting cosy on the day beds in the background.
They were sitting alone chatting and laughing, like they were getting along really well, but we haven’t seen them have any conversations on camera. In one clip, Shakira looks like she’s in hysterics.
People quickly started talking about it on X, with one person writing: “Okay, love the Toni drama and all but did anyone notice Shakira and Shea in the background. They looked so cute together.”
“Toni and Emily arguing and all I could focus on was Shea making Shakira LAUGH in the background??? Oh my ship has potential to sail and I’m here for it,” said another.

That was a few days ago, and Shakira is now making out that she only has eyes for Harry. There was no mention of her ever picking Shea in the recoupling, but people are convinced there’s something there.
Everyone is shipping them online, with someone asking “Why didn’t Shakira go with Shea?” and another agreeing: “I need Shakira and Shea to crack on.”
We haven’t seen Shakira and Shea chat once on camera the whole time they’ve been in the Love Island villa, but they clearly get on well if they’re having chats alone.
Shea is now coupled up with Helena in a friendship couple after the whole Harry saga, and there are no romantic feelings there.
With Helena and Harry now admitting they still have feelings for each other, will this be Shea’s opportunity to try and get close to Shakira? We’ll have to wait and see.
