People are questioning if there’s a “secret meaning” behind the ring Erika Kirk was wearing in the video she shared at the weekend. Charlie Kirk was killed on Wednesday last week, during a speech at a Utah Valley University event.
Days after Charlie Kirk’s death, Erika shared a video and pictures of her with the open casket holding her husband’s body. In the video, Erika could be seen leaning into an open coffin and hugging the 31-year-old’s body. Another picture showed her holding her husband’s hand next to a big gold medallion with the US flag and an American eagle on the front.
One video panned down Charlie’s dead body, before showing Erika holding his hand and kissing it whilst in tears. In the coffin, Charlie is wearing a navy blue suit, a white shirt and a red tie. But what’s distracting people is the ring Erika Kirk was wearing.

What is the meaning behind the ring Erika Kirk could be seen wearing?
In the video, Erika Kirk was wearing a huge gold ring with a “G” on it. Gold rings with “G” markings on can be indicators of Freemasons. According to one jewellery brand that makes them, a G symbol ring “is a powerful symbol of Freemasonry and a testament to tradition and brotherhood.” As per the site, “this ring is a lasting token of the values shared by all Freemasons.”
Sharing the video of Erika Kirk, one person commented: “Why is there a Mason G on her ring? I don’t like to dive too far into conspiracies but…”. Another added: “This appears to be the letter G on Erika Kirk’s middle finger ring which is a Freemason symbol.”
Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation for those who express a belief in a Supreme Being and a desire to improve themselves and expand their social circles. It follows many elements of a religion, but is not actually a Christian institution. The Freemasons is a pretty secretive society.
With regards to Erika Kirk, it’s all just internet rumour. Others have argued that Erika Kirk has always been very open with her religious beliefs, so the “G” could simply stand for “God”. Another person also said it could also be for Erika and Charlie’s daughter’s name, Gigi.
