Cracks have started to form in Dejon and Meg’s relationship on Love Island, and people think they’ve worked out the ‘real reason’ he’s started to turn on her all of a sudden, right before the final.
They are the only official couple in the Love Island villa, and things seemed to be going really well for them after a rocky start to their experience, with Dejon even telling Meg that he loves her.
However, they got into a massive argument on Thursday night’s episode after the Islanders played a game where Dejon was asked who he would want to be coupled up with if he wasn’t with Meg, and he said Yasmin. Awkward!
It looks like Dejon is now starting to turn on Meg, and people are convinced it’s because of a something Blu said when he returned to the villa.
Blu was brought back in alongside Megan after getting dumped earlier in the series, and he told the other Islanders that Yasmin, Shakira and Toni are the public’s favourites, while Meg and Helena are seen as the “mean girls”.
So, people think Dejon has taken in this information, decided to dump “mean girl” Meg and get back in with Yasmin, just so he’s seen as one of the good guys. It’s all one big calculated game.

“Blu tells Dejon that Meg isn’t that popular outside the villa and suddenly Dejon is picking fights with her,” one person wrote on X.
Another agreed: “Dejon saying what he did comes back to Blu’s comment about Meg being seen as a mean girl. And to him, while he is a nasty individual, he also thinks he’s saving her from being seen as nasty, as the conversation is about the half of the girls that Blu said was popular.”
“After Blu spilled Meg is the mean girl, you can see Dejon aborting his winning strategy in real time,” someone else said.
In fact, people are actually really angry that Blu was allowed to come back into the villa and tell the Islanders the public’s opinion in the first place, and think it’s ruined the whole show.
“Bro just ruined the wholeeee set. Yap yap yap, this guy just told Dejon that Shakira and Toni are loved on the outside. How can the producers let him say that! GET THIS MAN OUT OF THAT VILLA NOW!” another added.
