Pete Wicks has reportedly been left ‘frustrated’ over the response to his recent holiday to Ibiza, where he was pictured with Olivia Attwood.
The former Love Island favourite, 31, was pictured nestled in the arms of the Towie star, 36, looking cosy on a boat, with his hand on her hip.
Fans went on to express concern for Attwood’s two-year marriage to footballer Bradley Dack, with one writing on an Instagram post: ‘I’m afraid for your marriage,’ to which Olivia responded: ‘Don’t be. Worry about your own.’
A source has now said that Wicks is ‘sick’ of the situation, amid hopes of shaking off his playboy persona first cultivated during his Towie days.
A source told The Mirror: ‘Pete is sick of being unable to have close friends without it being misconstrued. He always has this problem of people thinking the worst.’
The source is also claimed to the publication that Wicks and Attwood are just friends.

The pair both appeared on Loose Women this week, alongside Sam Thompson, and were on the receiving end of a joke about the holiday snaps from This Morning host Cat Deeley.
Wicks had his arm around Attwood’s waist during the ITV crossover segment, but as Deeley teased the pair about their Ibiza trip, prompting Attwood to jokily walk away from the camera.
In April, it was reported that Wicks had grown close to another Love Island star, Samantha Kenny, after splitting from Maura Higgins.
Kenny was a contestant on series 11 of the ITV2 dating show last year, which aired around the time Pete and Maura’s relationship became public knowledge.

Samantha was sadly dumped from the Majorcan villa after just over two weeks, having been given the brush-off by Joey Essex when Grace Jackson entered as a bombshell.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Pete and Samantha have gone on a few dates and have really hit it off.
‘She’s got a wicked sense of humour and is absolutely gorgeous.’
The Strictly Come Dancing semi-finalist was linked to Maura last summer when they were spotted on a series of heavy-petting dates.
Wicks has since admitted that he is ‘in love’ with a new mystery woman during a conversation on his Staying Relevant podcast with Thompson.
Metro contacted Pete Wicks’ representative for comment.
