Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Zimbabwe football legend Peter Ndlovu has been appointed Team Manager of Zimbabwe’s Scottland FC.
The reigning Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (ZPSL) champions continue to reinforce their technical and administrative structures ahead of the new season.
Ndlovu joins Scottland FC leadership
Ndlovu, who previously served in a managerial role at Mamelodi Sundowns, officially joins the Scottland FC leadership following high-level engagements with club benefactor Wicknell Chivhayo, club president Scott Sakupwanya, and head coach Norman Mapeza.
His appointment comes at a crucial time as the club prepares to defend its league title and compete on multiple fronts.

Backed by strong financial support and ambitious leadership, the club capped off last season by clinching the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League championship, establishing themselves as the country’s team to beat.

Announcing Ndlovu’s appointment on social media, Chivhayo wrote:
“Welcome to SCOTLAND FC my brother PETER NDLOVU and congratulations on signing your two-year contract as the TEAM MANAGER…”
The appointment has also drawn praise from former teammate Esrom Nyandoro, who highlighted Ndlovu’s leadership and mentorship qualities.
“My brother Peter Ndlovu, you have always set a high bar for us all,” Nyandoro wrote. “Your advice is always full of wisdom, and I know you are going to execute this new role with honour and grace. The players are in good hands.”
Ndlovu’s vast experience, both as a trailblazer in South African football and a respected figure in Zimbabwe, is expected to add further professionalism and stability to Scottland FC’s setup.
His role will focus on team operations, player welfare, and strengthening the link between the technical bench and club management.
