Picture: New Zambian striker spotted at Orlando Pirates training! 

Orlando Pirates are getting down to work on the training pitch ahead of their trip to Spain soon.

Pirates will see themselves going back to the European nation for a third pre-season in a row next week. 

New faces set to head to Spain

On the plain heading to Spain, are set to be a number of new faces including players and coaches. Pirates have confirmed Sipho Mbule, Masindi Nemtajela, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli,Tshepang Moremi, Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Yanela Mbuthuma. They also dropped the bomb of Oswin Appollis while they’re yet to announce the signing of Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Mariko. This publication also reported that TS Galaxy centre-back Lebone Seema is also set to join. This comes after the appointment of new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou. 

Former Marumo Gallants coach Ouaddou has wasted no time in taking his Pirates players through their paces. And in training visuals released on Monday morning, a new face was spotted and identified by Unplayable. That is off Zambian striker Enock Sakala

Zambian  striker Enock Sakala, who was at Chippa United, is training with Orlando Pirates.

iDiski Times also confirmed Sakala’s presences at Pirates training.

“Zambia striker Enock Sakala has been training with Orlando Pirates since the start of their pre-season. The 23-year-old striker is currently a free agent after leaving Chippa United after a short-term deal, where he featured six times, scoring one goal after joining them in February after a stint in Egypt with Modern Sport.” Wrote the publication.

Current strikers

Should Sakala end up joining, he would be the second striker signed by Pirates during this transfer window. So far, it is only former Richards Bay FC striker Mbuthuma who has boosted their striking department. So far, they have the likes of Evidence Makgopa, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Boitumelo Radiopane and Zakhele Lepasa
