Further details on singer D4vd’s connection to the body found in an abandoned Tesla continue to emerge. After the victim was reportedly identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, the LAPD conducted a late-night search of a home in an affluent neighborhood near where the Tesla was abandoned.
According to details of the case, the Tesla was registered under D4vd’s name, but was never reported stolen. Sources tell TMZ that a black Tesla with Texas plates was often seen parked in front of the Hollywood Hills home.
Police conducted their search late Wednesday night with a swarm of police officers and seized a computer and other items from the residence. TMZ later reported the house is in connection with D4vd.
They confirmed the house homicide detectives raided is being rented out by D4vd’s manager at Interscope, Josh Marshall. Looking further, there are photos of the singer in the home, with Benny Blonco in the kitchen, and dancing with the girl group Katseye that match photos from an online real estate listing for the address.
D4vd is now in the crosshairs of the investigation as photos of his connection to Rivas emerge. Some include a photo of the singer not far from her family home in Lake Elsinore, California. Polic also reported Rivas having a “Shhh” tattoo on the inside of her finger that matches D4vd’s.
Rivas’s mother also confirmed that her daughter was seeing a boy named David before she was reported missing. There are also details of the singer having reportedly recorded an unreleased love song about someone named Celeste. Fans online have also shared alleged photos of D4vd and Celeste before her disappearance.
D4vd has not officially been named as a person of interest by the LAPD. In response to the ongoing investigation, he’s cancelled the rest of his world tour.
