Popular Cruise Line Says Ditch the Kids for This Month-Long Voyage

Virgin Voyages has you covered on this Travel Tuesday.

The popular cruise line has just announced the ultimate kid-free escape: a 2026 Alaska Summer Season Pass for a full month aboard Brilliant Lady. For 30 glorious days, you’ll sail aboard the exclusively adult cruise line through America’s most breathtaking frontier.

Imagine: 30 days soaking up the midnight sunsets and picturesque views of glaciers and wildlife. Plus, no kids.

In an effort to meet the demand for “quiet luxury” travel, Virgin Voyages is rolling out its summer season pass to Alaska beginning in May.

“Alaska is one of the most awe-inspiring places on Earth,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages. “Experiencing it aboard Brilliant Lady means you get the adventure without sacrificing comfort, style, or that Virgin sense of discovery — and without a single child on board. This is what vacation is supposed to feel like.”

Departure Windows and Prices

The first voyage sails from May 28 to June 23 for $26,000 for two passengers. The next window is from June 23 to July 23, for $38,000, followed by July 30 to August 27, for $35,000, and, finally, August 27 to September 26 for $36,000.

The pricing includes premium fare and service gratuities in a Central Sea Terrace cabin. Season pass guests can also buy one ticket and get the second 80 percent off, plus up to $400 in free drinks when booked by Jan. 29.

Here’s What Else Is Included

Aboard the Brilliant Lady, passengers will also get Virgin Voyages’ “Complimentary Shore Things” (up to $250 per passenger), a dedicated glacier discovery excursion, upgraded work-from-sea WiFi, laundry service throughout the voyage, thermal spa passes, and priority boarding and welcome receptions with the crew.

The cruise line is also offering an exclusively curated Alaska pack, with every 2026 Alaska Summer Season Pass guest receiving a Canon G7X camera, binoculars, a portable power bank, a backpack, and a limited-edition Season Pass jacket.

‘No Kids’ Policy Paying Off

Children are great and all, but sometimes an adults-only vacation does the body good, and Virgin Voyages is reaping the benefits.

According to the cruise line, revenues for 2026 are already up approximately 60 percent compared to this time last year. Virgin Voyages also says that rebooking rates are as high as 50 percent on some voyages, “as travelers discover what a cruise feels like when every space, every restaurant, and every experience is designed for grown-ups.”

“People want vacations that actually restore them,” said Stephen Hopkins, Vice President of Growth. “A month in Alaska aboard Brilliant Lady is exactly that — adventure, beauty, and adult-only exploration in one of the most spectacular places on the planet.”
