What Fruit Juice Has Been Recalled by the FDA?
As seen on the government website, the FDA issues a voluntary level II recall for three types of Evergreen Orchard Farm fruit juices. The reason was “lack of pasteurization and sanitation records.” The announcement was made on September 3, 2025.
The impacted juices are Evergreen Farm Korean Pear Juice 4 oz (codes P20261110, P20261130), Evergreen Farm Grape Juice 4 oz (code G20261215) and Evergreen Farm Jujube Juice 4 oz (codes J20260910, J20261110). Each item was sold in a foil pouch.

These particular fruit juices were distributed to New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. At present, the FDA has not been made aware of any potential illnesses. If consumers have these particular fruit juices, they should dispose of them immediately.
Evergreen Orchard Farm is located in Central New Jersey. It is known for its Korean pears, grapes and other fruits and vegetables.
Lack of Pasteurization Caused This Fruit Juice Recall.
As seen in a Newsweek article, the FDA recall of select Evergreen Farm fruit juices was due to lack of pasteurization and sanitation concerns. Since fresh fruit was used to create these juices, pasteurization is vital to help eliminate any harmful bacteria. That unwanted containment could be in the juices if the fresh fruit was not washed properly.
Unpasteurized fruit juices can cause a foodborne illness, like food poisoning. People can see effects like nausea, vomiting and other health problems. While some people can ward off the illness, people with compromised immune systems can be more greatly affected.
