The brand has nearly 3 million followers on Facebook and 1.5 million followers on Instagram, not to mention a popular podcast, its online mindbodygreen Institute, and a whole array of supplements. But now, mindbodygreen is recalling almost 150,000 bottles of one of its vitamin supplements. Here’s what you need to know.
Mindbodygreen Recalls Ultimate Multivitamin+
Mindbodygreen has recalled 148,370 units of its Ultimate Multivitamin+ dietary supplements, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The bottles violate regulations laid out in the Poison Prevention Packaging act, which requires supplements containing iron to be in child-resistant packaging. The recalled bottles were not child-resistant, leaving children at risk of being poisoned if they accidentally ingested the pills.
The recalled units were sold on mindbodygreen’s website between November 2021 and November 2025, ranging from $40 to $70 depending on subscription.
What to Do With Your Recalled Ultimate Multivitamin+
If you have a bottle of the recalled multivitamins, you don’t need to flush it down your toilet, as there is nothing wrong with the actual vitamins themselves. The issue is simply a flaw in the packaging. The CPSC recommends stashing the recalled bottles in a place where children can’t access them. You can also reach out to mindbodygreen for a free child-resistant replacement cap. If you live in a child-free household, you can go about business as usual.
The CPSC also notes that no injuries or incidents have been reported.
