AUGUSTA, Ga. ( WJBF) – Tuesday morning, Wellstar MCG Health and the Medical Office Building experienced a power outage.
At this time they remain on generator power.
Currently, the Medical Office Building on Harper Street is without power.
All clinical outpatient appointments in that building only that are scheduled after 12 p.m. are cancelled.
Patients who have appointments scheduled after 12 p.m. today should contact the clinic to reschedule.
They are working to restore power and will communicate as soon as they are fully operational.
Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is currently on full diversion until further notice.
The medical center, Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia and the Georgia Cancer Center have power and patients are not affected by this outage.
