What Ford cars were recalled?
The recall issued by Profeco and Ford is for 10,556 vehicles of the Bronco Sport models, year 2021-2022, and Maverick, year 2022-2023, due to a possible internal failure in the welding of the battery of the units.
Due to this defect, a failure could occur in the internal welding of the 12-volt battery, causing sudden degradation when driving, which would cause the car’s electrical accessories to stop working, including the emergency lights.
To repair the problem, the automaker will subject each of the vehicles to an inspection to detect any faults, and if necessary, it will replace the affected parts at no cost to the vehicle owners.
The owners of Ford cars related to said so-called review may contact the automaker by going to one of the authorized distributors, by calling 80 0713 8466, by email [email protected] or on the company’s official website.
