A man has scaled the King’s Cross station clocktower with his dog and a protest sign about freedom for Iran.
Morning commuters at the London station had an unusual start to their day after a protester managed to climb onto the clocktower today.
The incident has shut down part of the square outside the London station after the protester climbed onto tower holding a ‘freedom to Iran’ sign.
The activist scaled the tower while clutching onto a dog, which appears to be a Papillon or Chihuahua-type breed.

He unfurled a sign calling for freedom to the Middle Eastern country and ‘Iran belongs to its people’ in English along with text in Farsi.
Footage shows the manding standing close to the edge with the sign, dressed in a t-shirt with slogan ‘no to war.’
He appears to be alone in the tower after scaling the structure at about 8am.
One eyewitness who spotted the strange stunt said on X: ‘A man with a dog protesting against what seems like the Islamic regime in Iran. I don’t know how but he managed to climb the clock tower of King’s Cross station.’
The emergency services have set up a cordon around the tower, and the fire brigade brought in a crane to try to reach the man.
He was seen hanging out with his pet and occasionally filming with his phone.
