Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese leader Xi Jinping and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un were captured chatting about disturbing subjects while in Beijing.
China’s commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Second World War in Beijing saw thousands of troops march through the city while the three leaders watched on.
But unknown to Putin and Xi, a hot mic at the parade captured a pretty bizarre conversation between the pair.
‘With continuous advances in biotechnology, human organs will be increasingly transplanted — letting us live younger and younger, and perhaps even achieve immortality,’ Putin was heard saying.
Xi replied: ‘In this century, it’s anticipated that it may be possible for people to live to 150 years old.
‘Earlier, people rarely lived to 70, but these days, at 70 years, you are still a child.’

While Xi and Putin blabbered about immortality, Kim appeared to be smiling and enjoying the parade.
Putin has previously brought up the idea of living longer, even launching a ‘national project’, dubbed the ‘New Health Preservation Technologies’ in 2024.
That project focused on the prevention of cellular ageing, neurotechnologies and ‘other innovations aimed at longevity’.
And with both leaders at the age of 72, it’s no wonder Xi and Putin are keen to keep up with their health and a grasp on their countries.

Putin’s health has long been a focus of international media. Last week, his ‘shaky’ legs reignited some conspiracy theories.
Footage showed the Russian leader’s legs twitching oddly at the knees and rocking back and forward on his heels and toes while speaking to Trump.
On Telegram, the Times of Ukraine channel asked: ‘Attention — Putin’s legs. What is wrong with them?’
The Nevzorov channel said: ‘Putin seems to have achieved his goal, but he is twitching suspiciously. His legs are “shaking”. Maybe his shoes are tight.’
Crimean Wind suggested Putin was wearing ‘a strange element resembling a light exoskeleton’ under his suit trousers.
Others pointed out the thick soles on his shoes, saying he was trying to overcome his ‘Napoleon complex’ and bridge the eight-inch height difference between them.
‘Apparently, suffering from a Napoleon complex, Putin decided not to limit himself to traditional shoes with hidden platforms adding up to five inches in height for the “meeting of the century”,’ Crimean Wind continued.
