Rachel Kolisi has joined the viral “2016 challenge” on social media by posting pictures of her wedding to Siya Kolisi on Instagram.
However, the Springbok captain – whom she split from in late 2016 – is nowhere to be seen.
South Africa’s former darling couple split after two children and eight years of marriage. Siya has since moved on to a younger woman named Rachel John.

On her Instagram Stories, Rachel Kolisi posted pictures from a decade ago, as part of social media’s “2016 challenge”.
The mom-of-two reshared posts of her feed from special moments in her life, with special people – Women’s Day with her three sisters and supporting her brother, Joel Smith, at a UCT rugby match.
Rachel also reshared a post from her wedding day to Siya Kolisi on 13 August 2016.

But instead of her groom, and now her ex-spouse, Rachel shared one of her son, Nicholas. In the post, the blonde woman beamed at her toddler son, who was born a year earlier.
The move is thought to be a snub at her ex, Siya, who has since moved on with another woman, who shares the same name as her.

Almost a decade ago, Siya and Rachel Kolisi said ‘I Do’ in a beautiful ceremony in Franschhoek.
The wedding ceremony was featured in a segment on Top Billing.
The wedding featured a black and white theme – and Siya’s notable groomsmen were Springboks pal Eben Etzebeth and Scarra Ntubeni, who plays for the Stormers. Meanwhile, Rachel Kolisi’s three sisters were her bridesmaids.
At the time, Siya had to make use of crutches after suffering an injury at a rugby match just weeks before.
