Yesterday, Wednesday, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo highlighted the beginning of the delivery of support for 20 thousand for affected families in four states, and on Sunday it begins in Hidalgo.
“Today it begins in Veracruz, in Puebla, in Querétaro and in San Luis Potosí, and on Sunday it begins in Hidalgo because Hidalgo is the state that still has the most locations that have not been accessible by land,” he indicated.
In addition, Sheinbaum reported that he will travel again to the affected areas to supervise the work.
“I’m going to Veracruz again today. We are going to be in Poza Rica and Álamo and then we are going to Puebla,” he said.
“We are going to review the cleaning tasks and the delivery of support. Yesterday the delivery to the population was very important,” he added.
The President reiterated that the priority of the federal government is to guarantee access to basic services and accelerate recovery in the areas most affected by the rains.
99.7% of electrical service has been restored
For her part, the national coordinator of Civil Protection, Laura Velázquez, reported that It has been possible to enter all the communities affected by the recent storms in Hidalgo, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Veracruz, and? Electricity service is 99.75% restored in the region.

Velázquez highlighted that more than 53 thousand public servants from the three levels of government participate in the emergency work, among them personnel from the Secretariats of National Defense (Defense), the Navy (Semar), the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), the National Water Commission (Conagua), Welfare and state and municipal governments.
