This Thursday, Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, head of the Ministry of Communications and Transportationpresented the progress of bridge repairs and opening of roads in localities of the entities of Veracruz, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Hidalgo after the extraordinary rains that occurred from October 6 to 9.
From the National Palace, the owner declared that from yesterday, Wednesday, October 15, to today, the early hours of Thursday, October 16, “The number of 191 isolated communities was reduced to only 160.“
In Hidalgo, 111 were reported, but this Thursday it decreased to 84; in Puebla, from 29 they went to 21; in Querétaro, due to a landslide, the number of cut-off communities increased from 3 to 10; in San Luis Potosí they went from 2 to just one and in Veracruz it was only reduced to 45 when yesterday 46 locations were reported in this condition.
Regarding the issue of bridges and the reopening of roads, the owner declared that There is already an evaluation system, led by engineers, to structure alternative routes that solve the mobility of the inhabitants of the affected towns while the cleaning work on the bridges is carried out.

Garcés Auxiliary Bridge II. It is expected that in no more than 8 days this road will be open for vehicle circulation.

El Ixtle Bridge. It is expected that in no more than 7 days this road will be open for vehicle circulation.
- Bridge length: 145 meters
- Work will be done on the reconstruction of accesses
Xochiatipan
not specified. It is expected that in no more than 10 days this road will be open for vehicle circulation.
- Bridge length: 200 meters
- Work will be done on replacing the abutment, eaves, clearing and access.
Yahualica
not specified. It is expected that in no more than 7 days this road will be open for vehicle circulation.

- Work will be done on the reconstruction of approaches
