Million dollar lawsuit for breach of contract

CDMX. Escalates new levels of conflict between Humble Ranch y Ruled Forcea million-dollar lawsuit, accusations of sabotage and much more have already been revealed. The record labelHumble Ranch“demands 15 MDD a la banda”Ruled Force” for breach of contract.
Humble Ranch It is a record label that is recognized for having promoted Fuerza Regida since 2018; and it was in September 2025 when Rancho Humilde – a company led by Jimmy Humilde – filed a lawsuit against Fuerza Regida for alleged breach of contract.
According to the regional Mexican music label Rancho Humilde, the Californian band made unauthorized collaborations and signed independent agreements for live performances with Apple Music and Live Nation; and assures that the original contract gave them participation in all profits from recordings and tours.
Their lawsuit lists 27 songs that had allegedly violated the agreement by not sharing royalties, such as: “Qué Onda” with Calle 24 and Chino Pacas; and “Modo Capone”, a collaboration with Pacas and Drake that reached No. 11 on Hot Latin Songs
Furthermore, the record label points out that Ruled Force also ignored exclusivity by signing directly with Apple Music this summer for a live concert recording in Mexico City, as well as Live Nation for US tours in 2023 and 2024
The record company states “Humble Ranch has suffered damages, including, but not limited to, lost royalties, advances, fees, market share and other compensation… The exact amount of the damages is subject to proof at trial, but exceeds $15 million.”
REGISTERED FORCE COUNTERSUING RANCHO HUMILDE FOR WANTING TO SABOTATE HIS CAREER
A month after the label’s lawsuit, Fuerza Regida responded with a countersuit that accuses Rancho Humilde of withholding millions in royalties and attempting to “sabotage” his career, including his exclusion from Latin Grammy nominations.
The group holds in its counterclaim that the label breached the contract by blocking audits, withholding master recordings and diverting tour profits through “backroom deals.” Ruled Force points to Humble Ranch and Jimmy Humble of “systematic financial embezzlement.”

Fuerza Regida assured that Rancho Humilde asked Sony to eliminate them from the presentations for the 2024 Latin Grammy nominations, after they had been one of the best-selling acts of the year.
They even point out Jimmy Humilde for allegedly sending “threatening and intimidating text messages” to Apple’s head of Latin music, to influence the recording of his live concert in CDMX
In its countersuit, Fuerza Regido demands at least $25 million in damages.
The lawyer of Ruled ForceKenneth D. Freundlich, stated in an interview that Rancho Humilde has shamelessly enriched itself for years at the expense of the group.
However, it was the lawsuit they filed against Fuerza Regida that was the “straw that broke the camel’s back.”
The competing legal claims were moved from California state court to federal court on October 20 of this year.
