Randal Kolo Muani says he is unaware of transfer interest from Chelsea with his preference to remain at Juventus.

After struggling at Paris Saint-Germain following a £76million move from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, the France international joined Juventus on loan until the end of the season in January.

After scoring just two goals during the first-half of the campaign in France, Muani’s fortunes improved in Italy, netting 10 in 20 appearances for the Bianconeri.

Juventus are eager to sign him on a permanent deal this summer but Chelsea have also explored a move to take him to Stamford Bridge, entering talks with PSG this week.

Chelsea’s interest comes amid fresh uncertainty over the future of Nicolas Jackson in west London.

Like Chelsea, Juventus are competing at the Club World Cup in the United States, already through to the knockout stages of the competition after thumping wins over Al Ain and Wydad Casablanca.

Muani, who scored twice in the opening game victory over the former, will have his club future resolved after the competition wraps up but would like to remain in Turin.

‘I don’t know anything about Chelsea,’ Muani said.

‘I’m trying to focus on the Club World Cup, which is a very fast competition. Once the tournament is over, we’ll see what happens on the market.

‘If it were up to me, I’d stay here: I’m really happy at Juve, I feel great.’

Reports in Italy have claimed Juventus are prepared to make a one-year loan deal offer with the option to buy Muani for £34m next summer.

Chelsea have already brought in Liam Delap from Ipswich Town to bolster their attack with the expectation he will battle Jackson for a starting berth up front next season.

But Chelsea remain linked with other options up top, including Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike.

Further additions could also hinge on whether Jackson remains at the club.

The Senegal international, sent off four minutes after coming off the bench against Flamengo on Friday night, is valued at around £50m with Juventus reportedly opening talks over a move over the weekend.
