Shortly after he was reelected to lead Empire State Republicans for another two-year term Tuesday, Cox told reporters he doesn’t believe there will be a primary for Governor and that Stefanik will be anointed as their nominee to take on incumbent Dem Gov. Kathy Hochul in 2026.
