The Broad Force of Transporters (FAT) has called for a demonstration this October 29 in Mexico City as a measure of pressure for the capital authorities to address demands such as the increase in the rate of public transportation —currently from 6 and 8 pesos— to 12 and 14 pesos, as well as the delivery of a fuel bonus that improves their finances in the face of the increase in the price of diesel.
The demonstration will consist of marches and road blockades that will begin at 6:30 a.m., with the main rally scheduled for 2:00 p.m. This march will start from the Monument to the Revolution towards the Zócalo, through Paseo de la Reforma, Balderas Street, Juárez Avenue, Hidalgo Avenue, Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas and 5 de Mayo.
It is expected that there will be points of concentration in the México-Pachuca, México-Puebla, México-Querétaro, México-Toluca booths and in other adjacent accesses between the State of Mexico and the capital of the country.
In addition to the roads mentioned, also Severe damage is expected on Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza, Calzada de Tlalpan, Circuito Interior, Periférico and Avenida de los Insurgentes.
