Various groups of corn producers continue with the blockade road at different points of Jaliscoas part of the day of protest that they carried out since Monday in order to demand the Federal Government improve the support to the field and obtain fair prices for your product.
The mobilizations cause damage to highways and roads with a high influx of vehicles such as the Guadalajara–Colima at kilometer 40, the highway Moreno Lakes (Tepatitlán booth) and the road Guadalajara–Nogales, a la altura del Technology Park.

Most of the protesters are farmers from the Ciénega and Los Altos region that demand the review of marketing policies, since they ensure that current prices generate losses.

Representatives of agricultural groups maintain a dialogue table with authorities seeking to authorize their requests and assure that they will not lift the road blockade until they receive a response; meanwhile, they hope to open the way at least to emergency vehicles.
Drivers, surprisingly, show support for protesters and until now no clashes recorded between both groups, which are awaiting results of the meetings to lift or continue with the blockades.
