Springbok Franco Mostert has launched his side hustle – selling his fresh produce from his agricultural farm.
The rugby star is one of many of his colleagues who have multiple income streams.

SPRINGBOK SIDE HUSTLES
Franco Mostert is not the only Springbok involved in farming. Pieter-Steph du Toit’s family owns Kloovenburg Wine & Olive Estate in the Western Cape, which produces wine, grape juice, olives, and avocados.
Kwagga Smith owns a guest farm in Mpumalanga, which also cultivates maize, soy, pecans, and walnuts.
Retired Springbok Duane Vermeulen owns a walnut farm near his restaurant in the Free State.
Other Boks have their fingers in many different pies, such as swimwear (Faf de Klerk), alcohol (Bongi Mbonambi and Trevor Nyakane), and even a funeral business (Damian Willemse).
