Rylan Clark has found love again four years after his split from ex-husband Dan Neal.
The X Factor star, 36, was married to ex-Metropolitan Police detective Dan for six years, but they split when Rylan admitted to cheating on him
Now, Rylan is reportedly loved up again with a new man called Kennedy, who is said to be a boss at Billy Bates & Sons funfair in Leicestershire, an outfit that’s been in the business for seven generations.
A source told The Sun: ‘This new man has certainly put a smile back on Rylan’s face and they have been enjoying spending lots of time together.
‘Rylan’s friends and family have all met him and they’ve been attending lots of gigs together this summer, including Oasis.
‘They’re inseparable. They make a lovely couple.’
This comes after Rylan opened up to listeners on his podcast How To Be In Love about a new relationship, which is becoming serious.
‘At this time, I’m very happy,’ he began, explaining: ‘Recently I have gotten into a relationship and it’s great and it feels very different to anything I’ve had before, which is a good sign to me.
‘It’s the first person I’ve met in four years that I’ve introduced to my family.’
Rylan also confirmed the news to co-host Lottie Uttley on their Radio 2 show, and said he was ‘seeing someone’, to which she revealed colleagues had met the ‘lovely’ significant other.
In July, Rylan revealed he felt like a complete ‘failure’ following his divorce, which took a toll on his mental and physical health after suffering two heart failures.
‘When I went through my divorce, I had a full-on breakdown because it wasn’t just us,’ he said on How To Be In Love with Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri.
‘It felt like it wasn’t just us, even though it was just me and my ex. I felt that everyone’s going to think this of me.’
He admitted: ‘Everyone’s going to think, ‘Oh look, his life isn’t perfect. Oh look, he’s failed like that.’ I just felt like a failure.’
It would have been Rylan and Dan’s 10-year anniversary this year, which the presenter was reminded of when he got an email a few months prior to the big date asking if he still wanted a venue he’d booked a while ago.
‘I actually did book a venue for my 10th wedding anniversary,’ he said on This Morning, adding: ‘I got an email a couple of months back saying “do you still want this venue?” and I was like, “no”.
‘I forgot. Lost my deposit and all,’ he jokingly added.
This comes after a moment of controversy for the star, after he vocalised his stance on immigration on This Morning last week.
The TV presenter was hosting the ITV daytime show during a discussion over mass deportation plans proposed by Reform leader Nigel Farage.
The controversial far-right leader has said his party would deport hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants over five years, if they were to win the next election and come to power.
While co-hosting the show with Josie Gibson, he said: ‘[The UK] is built on immigration.
‘Legal immigration — a lot of the nurses, the doctors that have saved my mum’s life, have come over here from other countries.
‘They’re living a great life, they’re paying into this tax system, they’re helping this country thrive.’
Rylan then continued: ‘I find it absolutely insane that all these people are risking their lives coming across the Channel.
‘And when they get here, it does seem, and I think this is why a lot of Labour voters as well are saying there’s something wrong, it feels like, “Welcome, come on in”. That’s the narrative we’re being fed.
‘Here’s the iPad. Here’s the NHS in reception of your hotel. Here’s three meals a day. Here’s a games room in the hotel. Have a lovely time and welcome.’
He then added: ‘There are people that have lived here all their lives that are struggling. They’re homeless. Let’s not even discuss our homeless. There are people living on the streets, veterans, all of this.’
After some backlash with critics dubbing his views as dog whistle language, Rylan doubled down on his stance, writing on social media: ‘You can be pro immigration and against illegal routes.
‘You can support trans people and have the utmost respect for women.
‘You can be heterosexual and still support gay rights. The list continues.
‘Stop with this putting everyone in a box exercise and maybe have conversations instead of shouting on Twitter.’
