Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating the first anniversary of her 2024 album, Short n’ Sweet. This is just days before she launches her new studio album, Man’s Best Friend, on 29 August.
The highly successful Short n’ Sweet debuted exactly a year ago on 23 August 2024. The album spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album, which sold approximately 220,000 units in its first week (around R3.8 million), marked a milestone in Carpenter’s career, according to Billboard.
The project produced hit singles like Espresso, Please Please Please, and Taste. Alongside its commercial success, Short n’ Sweet earned Carpenter her first Grammy award for Best Pop Vocal Album.
The singer toured extensively across North America and Europe, performing in arenas and bringing her music to thousands.

Sabrina Carpenter took to Instagram on 23 August to pause the promotional activities for Man’s Best Friend and reflect warmly on her past year.
She shared a carousel of photos capturing moments from live performances, photo shoots, and award shows.
“One year of kiss marks, camaraderie,” she wrote, highlighting the fun and closeness the album brought her.
“This album is one of my most prized possessions and brought me closer to myself as well as so many beautiful people and places,” Sabrina Carpenter added.
“Thank you for still listening every single day. Thank you for coming to the shows and singing till your lungs give out.
For loving these songs and every damn lyric as much as I do! I’ll never take it for granted! Love you all infinitely.”
MAN’S BEST FRIEND
Man’s Best Friend, her seventh studio album, promises to continue Sabrina Carpenter’s rise with a fresh sound.
The album features the lead single Manchild, which has already topped the Billboard Hot 100. It includes 12 tracks on the standard edition and a bonus 13th track on a special vinyl release.
Sabrina Carpenter will perform at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on 7 September.
In October, she will team up with Taylor Swift for a new song on Swift’s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl.
