Defending champion Paris Saint-Germain maintained the lead and full score in the unified group of the Champions League competition with a wide victory over host Bayer Leverkusen 7-2 on Tuesday in the third round.

Arsenal owes its victory to its two international players, Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalich and striker Gabriel Martinelli, as the former opened the scoring in the 57th minute, and the latter increased the score in the 64th minute, before making a brace for Swiss Victor Yukiris in the 67th and 71st minutes.

This is the third win in a row for the London club, as it continued to share the lead with Paris Saint-Germain and runner-up Inter Milan, while Atletico Madrid suffered its second loss after the first against its host Liverpool 2-3 in the first round, so its score froze at 3 points from its victory over Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 and fell to 18th place.

City returns to winning ways
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland returned his Manchester City team to winning ways by leading it to victory over host Villarreal 2-0.
Haaland opened the scoring in the 17th minute, raising his tally to 4 goals in 3 matches in the competition this season, and to 53 in 51 matches in the history of his participation in it.

Captain Bernardo Silva increased City’s lead in the 40th minute, and contributed to his team’s second victory in the competition this season after the first against its Italian guest Napoli (2-0) in the first round.
Dortmund win
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha scored a goal in each half to help his team secure a 4-2 victory away to Copenhagen.
Nmecha scored an early goal in the 20th minute after a wonderful pass from the edge of the penalty area, but Dortmund received an own goal after defender Ramy Bensebaini tried to clear the ball, but it collided with Valdermar Anton and entered his net after 13 minutes.
The visitors regained the lead from a penalty kick by Ben Sabaini in the 61st minute before Nmecha added his second goal, then Fabio Silva scored his first goal for Dortmund to give them a comfortable 4-1 lead.
Young Copenhagen player Victor Dadasson came on as a substitute to score his first goal with the first team with a header in the 90th minute.
Newcastle defeats Benfica
