Mayhem broke out in Salford as cars were set on fire and drivers mounted pavements during a gathering.
Masked rioters wreaked havoc on Lower Broughton Road in the Greater Manchester neighbourhood yesterday as they clashed with police and drove around erratically.
Cars were torched, bins and debris were strewn across the road, and cars were used to block off the street as young people pulled wheelies in front of a cheering crowd.
At the height of the disturbance, up to 60 people had gathered on the residential road.
