Search resumes for man missing in South Coast waters

The search for a man last seen falling into the water at a South Coast beach has resumed.

A NSW Police spokesperson said a 23-year-old man was last seen falling from a cliff on Sunday evening (18 January).

Emergency services were called to Mystery Bay Beach (about 12 kilometres south of Narooma) at about 6:40 pm, where they were told the man had fallen several meters and not resurfaced.

Local police, with assistance from Marine Area Command, Marine Rescue NSW, SES and VRA, started a search of the nearby area.

They have been unable to locate the man, with the search suspended later that evening.
