The president of the Board of Directors of the Senate of the Republic, Laura Itzel Castillo reported that between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, The four minutes sent by the Chamber of Deputies to issue the Federation Income Law will be analyzed and, where appropriate, approved; as well as to reform the Federal Tax Code, the Federal Rights Law and the Special Tax Law on Production and Services, which are part of the 2026 Economic Package.

The legislator recalled that the Senate of the Republic is responsible for the analysis and approval of the draft decrees sent to it by the Chamber of Deputies on the income of our country.

“According to what is the responsibility of the Senate of the Republic, it is related to income, there is the Fiscal Code of the Federation, the Federal Law of Rights, as well as the IEPS Law and of course the Income Law for 2026. All of these issues that we are going to be carrying out this week that, like the othersthey are quite intense”, he said.
Likewise, he said that there will be a Solemn session and a conversation to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations (UN).
He said that after his meeting with Peter Grohmann, resident coordinator of the United Nations System in Mexico, they agreed that a Solemn Session will be held next Tuesday to commemorate the 80 years of the United Nations Organization.
