In order to digitally consult the academic history and credentials of professionals and reduce fraud, the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), through the General Directorate of Professions (DGP), announced the implementation of the Proof of Professional Status (CSP).
According to the federal agency, in addition to the ballotthis certificate also records membership, microcredentials, certificates and transversal skills, strengthening security and authenticity in professional practice; hence seeks to reduce fraud and forgeriesin addition to offering a reliable verification tool for institutions, companies and public organizations.

The document replaces paper processes and will function as a verifiable digital professional resume, which will promote employability, educational mobility and access to scholarships. He indicated that its design allows for formal recognition of the specific capabilities, skills and knowledge acquired by professionals throughout their careers.
Proof of Professional Status is based on national and international standards: SEP
By agreement with the owner of the SEP, Mario Delgadothe DGP pointed out that the CSP is based on national and international standards and articulates the National Qualifications Frameworkwhich gives it academic value and official recognition; recalled that, according to data from the UNESCO85% of professionals in Latin America They want their abilities to be recognized, 80% seek to strengthen their employability and 75% aspire to more flexible school trajectories.
In 80 years of operation, the General Directorate of Professions has registered more than 15 million IDs and with the digital transformation process, the SEP plans to issue 15 million additional certifications and microcredentialsthanks to collaboration with educational institutions, certifying entities and business organizations. To date, there have been registered 800 thousand certifications in different fields of knowledge and services.

He highlighted that this free digital platform has been widely accepted by overcoming 800 thousand downloads and two million queries in less than a month, and added that the SEP works so that professionals, institutions and companies incorporate certifications linked to the strategic sectors of the Mexico Planstrengthening the training of more and better professionals.
