‘She deserves to spend 2 weeks in jail’: Londie London on Minnie

Reality TV star and singer Londie London has threatened to take legal action against her co-star, Minnie Ntuli.

During part two of The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) season 5 reunion, she declined Minnie Ntuli’s apology.

Minnie and Londie have been a major talking point this season on RHOD, after a sly remark about Minnie’s dress from Londie sparked ongoing verbal clashes between the two.

She shockingly accused her of being a prostitute who “makes money lying on her back.” Following backlash on social media, Minnie penned a letter to Londie apologising for her behaviour.

On part two of the reunion, which aired on Friday, 11 April, a shocking clip of a physical altercation between Minnie and Londie left viewers stunned. The footage shows the two exchanging heated words, with Minnie aggressively standing up and pressing her finger against Londie’s forehead.

When asked if she accepts the apology, she responded by saying, “I want nothing to do with Minnie. I’m going to open a case of assault. I’m serving her, even for defamation of character. If she was here, I would have served her already.

“She deserves it. She’s evil. She deserves to spend two weeks in jail,” said Londie.

MINNIE ISSUES AN APOLOGY FOR HER ACTIONS ON RHOD

The heated argument led viewers to drag Minnie online, calling out her appalling behaviour and urging Gagasi FM to fire her.

Following the backlash, Minnie issued a public statement apologising after social media users called for her removal from Gagasi FM.

In her statement, she admitted that rewatching the show was difficult, said she felt appalled, and fully accepted responsibility.

“Over the past few weeks, I’ve had to face the impact of my actions on The Real Housewives of Durban. Watching the show back has been deeply confronting. I’m appalled by how I behaved and take full accountability,” she wrote.

Minnie added that she publicly apologised to cast members affected and is willing to make amends for her behaviour.

Additionally, Minnie said she had met with Gagasi FM management, who expressed disappointment with her behaviour during the show’s broadcast.

She agreed to take professional counselling and confirmed she would be taking time off to reflect and improve personally.
