This Tuesday, when questioned about the former president’s insistence that with his administration and Morena they are “destroying the pillars of democracy”, The head of the Executive stressed that the PRI member is, to say the least, hypocritical, particularly because he was the one who dissolved the Court, at the time.
“To say that we are ending democracy, that 4T is ending democracy, because it is an absolute falsehood (…) in reality it is a false freedom and it is a false democracy that it defends,” highlighted the head of the federal Executive.
At the same time, he questioned that the right, both in the country and abroad, has as “favorite word” that of “freedom”but that is actually the “market freedom.”
“What is fashionable is freedom, the word freedom, a favorite of the right. What freedom do they seek? The freedom of the market while one dies of hunger because they have low salaries, as happened for 36 years with neoliberalism. What freedom? The freedom of the market without any intervention,” he highlighted.
