Sheinbaum returns to Puebla and reviews the effects of rain

For the second time, President Claudia Sheinbaum traveled to Puebla to review the effects of the rains in the region and affirmed that nothing damaged will be left unrepaired. For its part, Semar provided an update on the distribution of aid in Veracruz, Puebla and Hidalgo.

Mexico City/Puebla, October 19 (SinEmbargo/BothManos).- The President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo (CSP) returned to Puebla for the second time in just a week to verify the damage from the rains in the Northern Sierra. Now he walked alongside the Governor Alejandro Armenta the municipality of Pantepec.

Both visited areas such as the temporary shelter of The Carrizal. The objective was to know the needs of the families and reaffirm the commitment that they are not alone.

The President expressed that she knows that there is desperation. However, he stated that they must be clear that they have the support of the authorities. This is to solve the situation and ensure that everything is under control.

In this sense, he assured that schools, roads and clinics will be repaired. Little by little, all communities will move forward. Pantepec was one of the municipalities most affected by landslides and floods.

In addition to this, the federal government will carry out a census of the affected homes to provide direct support to those affected.

“The census will be analyzed and depending on the loss of their house, a second support will be given. If the house was completely lost, the support will be greater. If they had minor damage, the support will be greater,” said Sheinbaum.

Among these, belongings such as furniture and appliances will be given to people who lost stoves, refrigerators, mattresses, among other items, due to the floods.

Likewise, he will coordinate with Armenta Mier to return to the municipality, in order to verify the repairs and to meet again with the inhabitants.

Sheinbaum also assured that attention will be given to all schools and clinics in the affected areas, in addition to coordinating with the Governor to return to the entity and supervise the progress of support. “Nothing is going to be left unfixed,” he said.
