In this context, Sheinbaum Pardo recognized that Mexico sells fuel to Cuba and reiterated that it will continue with humanitarian aid for that country and any others that are needed.
“Now there is a surplus of diesel, particularly and it is being exported and just like first humanitarian aid, in any case, Mexico will always give it, always. to Cuba and other countries that need it, that is our essence, humanism.”
He explained that They have various contracts, among them that of the Cuban doctors, “they have a very transparent contract that pays for the stay of the doctors here,” and he justified that for years there was no training of specialists “and they generously come to support the most remote communities.”
In this way he responded to the US congressman, Carlos Giménez, who criticized that while the president reviews the Trade agreement with the United States and Canada, supports governments like Cuba and Venezuela.
