The capital’s Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) confirmed the arrest of six people after a shooting that occurred on Sunday night in a chelería in the Milpa Alta mayor’s office, which left one person dead and nine injured.
The events occurred on Guadalupe Street, in the Town of San Antonio Tecomitl, where officers found several people injured by gunshot wounds.
Emergency services diagnosed 10 injured people who were taken to two hospitals, where one of them died, the secretariat reported.
Six arrested for shooting at a chelería in Milpa Alta
After identifying the direction in which the aggressors fled, uniformed officers implemented a virtual fence with personnel from the Eastern Command and Control Center (C2), who located the six people who matched the characteristics mentioned by the injured.
The above led to the arrest of five men and one woman possibly related to the attacks.
The detainees, along with three motorcycles and an insured vehicle, were made available to the Public Ministry agent for the corresponding investigations, who will determine their legal situation.
Meanwhile, secretarial staff provide care to neighbors, in coordination with mayoral authorities.
