Through an informative note, the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) indicated that the transportation services provided through application companies do not have an authorization issued by the agency to provide their services in airports.
Although the SICT indicated that the private label of Uber had promoted an amparo, derived from the operations carried out by the National guard in the country’s airports, due to lacking the respective authorization, the Thirteenth Administrative Court of Mexico City granted a suspension to said company.
With this resolution, the operatives of the National guard will be maintained in accordance with the regulations established in the Federal Motor Transportation Roads Bridges Law and the Regulation corresponding applicable, preventing these from being arbitrary and discriminatory.
