Two Colombian singers on tour in Mexico were murdered after they were kidnapped and tortured by a local drug cartel.
The bodies of Bayron Sanchez Salazar, 31, known as B-King, and Jorge Luis Herrera Lemos, 35, known as DJ Regio Clown, were discovered in Cocotitlan, State of Mexico, on September 17.
They disappeared in Mexico City the previous day, before their remains were found cut into pieces.
Their identities were confirmed by their families on September 22. Three other bodies were also discovered at the same location, according to prosecutors.
A narco-message signed by the criminal group La Familia Michoacana, dedicated to drug trafficking and other illegal activities, was left alongside the victims.
The two artists had arrived in Mexico at the start of September for a series of concerts.

They were last seen leaving a gym before losing all contact with relatives and colleagues.
The discovery prompted Mexican officials to circulate search notices and coordinate with Colombian authorities.
Investigations are continuing with both Mexican and Colombian prosecutors involved.
Last year, a member of La Familia Michoacana was arrested at her own wedding and jailed for 11 years.
Nancy Lizeth Rodriguez Guadarrama wasn’t even allowed to cut her cake before she was nicked.
She was detained as she arrived at the church and was hauled before the Public Prosecutor’s Office in her white wedding dress.
Her would-be husband, Clemente Mendiola Martinez, managed to escape from the church.
However, he was found dead in his car in Villa Guerrero, Mexico, surrounded by over 200 bullet casings.
Rodriguez was sentenced to 11 years and six months in prison for violent robbery after her arrest on December 3 last year.
