Mel B, famously known as Scary Spice, tied the knot with hairstylist Rory McPhee on Saturday in a stunning ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
After six years of dating, the couple finally said “I do” in front of a star-studded guest list.
MEL B’S WEDDING GUEST LIST
The wedding was a grand affair, with celebrities like Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan, and Daisy Lowe in attendance. However, not all of Mel B’s former Spice Girls bandmates were present.
Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, was the only Spice Girl to attend the wedding. She also performed a moving rendition of Let Love Lead the Way during the ceremony.
Guests reportedly were brought to tears by her heartfelt performance. Emma’s presence brought a warm sense of Spice Girls nostalgia to the event, according to Pedestrian.
Victoria Beckham, known as Posh Spice, was notably absent. She revealed on Instagram that she missed the wedding because she was overseas. Despite this, she sent her warmest congratulations to the happy couple.

“Congratulations Mel B and Rory on your special day!” Victoria wrote. “I couldn’t be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! Kisses xx.”
She also shared a second post showing a video of the Spice Girls together. “Sending you love, Mel. Rory is a very lucky man!” she added.
Mel C, or Sporty Spice, also missed the ceremony but expressed her happiness for Mel B on Instagram.
“So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn’t be there,” she wrote. “Excited to celebrate with you soon! Yippee!”
TENSION IN THE GROUP
Geri Halliwell, Ginger Spice, was absent and has yet to comment on the wedding. This silence comes amid ongoing rumours of a feud between her and Mel B.
The tension reportedly dates back to 2019, following a public disagreement over past claims about their relationship.
The Spice Girls have a lasting legacy worldwide, including here in South Africa, where their music continues to inspire new generations.
