The first day of fall is still four weeks away, but Starbucks is already set to roll out its 2025 fall menu.
The coffee giant typically features limited-time menu items for each season. Of course, Starbucks’ fall menu is best known for its Pumpkin Spice Latte.
The famous PSL, both hot and iced will be back tomorrow, August 26, when Starbucks introduces its fall options. Other returning seasonal drink items include the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Chai and Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte.
On the food side, Starbucks is bringing back its Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Raccoon Cake Pop.
Additionally, there are a couple of items making their debuts, one food and one drink.
Starbucks reveals new Pecan Oatmilk Cortado
As a flavor, pecan pairs well with fall. This year, Starbucks is dropping a new Pecan Oatmilk Cortado.
The base of the hot drink is the chain’s Blonde Espresso, which is combined with “pecan, rich brown butter and holiday baking spices” and topped with a pecan crunch.
““The saltiness and browned butter notes combined with the toasted pecan flavors are the perfect complement to the Cortado’s bold espresso base,” said Patrick Penny, lead beverage developer for Starbucks. “When paired with creamy oatmilk, the pecan balances the vibrant, rich flavor notes of Starbucks Blonde Espresso.”
One of the first reviews of the new beverage comes from AllRecipes’ Deanne Revel and Bailey Fink, who gave the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado an endorsement.
“The espresso drink has a delicious nuttiness and offers cinnamon and nutmeg flavors that really drive home the autumnal vibes,” they wrote.
“If you’re a pecan pie fan, or just want a break from pumpkin without ditching the fall flavors entirely, the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado is the perfect alternative.”
A fresh breakfast snack is also on the docket
Starbucks is bringing on Italian Sausage Egg Bites as part of its fall breakfast menu.
Egg bites have been a major food component at Starbucks for years now, and these feature crumbled Italian sausage, Monterey jack cheese, sundried tomato pesto and basil folded into eggs and cooked “sous vide” style.
Even more options at Starbucks Reserve stores
While the above choices are available nationwide, Starbucks Reserve locations in Chicago, New York and Seattle have an even wider variety of fall menu options, including a Pumpkin Spice Duo Flight and Tiramisu Latte, both new, and several other non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
