Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s son made a special visit to his father’s Walk of Fame star after landing in Los Angeles.
“I just touched down into L.A. for Dancing With the Stars,” Robert Irwin said in a video shared via TikTok. “Look what I found.”
Robert, 21, posed for a photo with his late father’s star near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, captioning the video, “This is so special.”

“How cool is that,” he added. “That’s so awesome. That’s so cool.”
Robert, whom the late star shares with wife Terri Irwin, landed in Los Angeles ahead of the season 34 premiere of Dancing With the Stars. The conservationist has big shoes to fill as his sister, Bindi Irwin, previously competed on the dancing competition series with partner Derek Hough. Bindi, 27, and Hough took home the Mirrorball Trophy during the show’s 21st season.
“The moves — I’ve got this, a little bit of that,” he joked while showing off a simple shimmy move in May on Today. “That’s it though.”
“She was incredible,” he added of Bindi. “So I am really leaning on all of her knowledge. She’s given me a few tips already, but she never danced either…I’m definitely going to be leaning on my sister. My sister’s incredible. She’s such an inspiration. My greatest inspirations in life, it’s my mum and my sister.”
Robert and Bindi lost their father in September 2006 after the reality star was pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray barb while filming in the Great Barrier Reef.
