Without actually spoiling the episode, the basic story of “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail” is all about the circumstances under which Jim Kirk (Paul Wesley) first takes command of a starship in a crisis situation. This episode features a lot of interplay between Kirk and Spock (Ethan Peck) as well as Kirk and Scotty (Martin Quinn).
