Suspected terrorist arrested for ‘plotting attack on British military base’

Handout photo dated 12/01/24 issued by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) of one of four RAF Typhoon aircraft returning to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus after joining the US-led coalition conducting air strikes against military targets in Yemen. Houthi attacks in the Red Sea have increased 500% between November and December. US President Joe Biden said military strikes on more than a dozen sites used by the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen were meant to demonstrate that the US and its allies "will not tolerate" the militant group's ceaseless attacks on the Red Sea.
