Mexico City.- Neighbors of Tacubaya, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in the mayor’s office Miguel Hidalgohave been asking the government of Mauricio Tabe without being attended to, while the inhabitants have various problems mainly due to lack of water.
Roberto Barrera operates a chicken shop on Héroes de 1810 Street, in front of the market of the same name as the neighborhood, and daily he needs to use between 20 and 30 liters of water in the business, which for about two months has not been enough, so he is helped by some neighbors.
“There was a time when nothing fell, but now the issue is pressure, we already have our report and everything, it’s about two months old, we already have the folio and everything but they say they are going to check it (…) we have to wash everything every day because it’s food,” he shared with Enough Diary.
Among those who help Roberto daily are the tenants of the Tacubaya Market and establishments with the same business as his.
In addition to Héroes de 1810, Antonio Maceo and La Morena are other roads where residents suffer from water shortages.
The lack of vital liquid in this town caused the capital to block Jalisco Avenue a few days ago demanding a solution to the problem, to which the government of Tabe Echartea He reported that he is in communication with the Water Secretariat, however, this is not the only problem that the inhabitants of Tacubaya are experiencing, since neighbors have been denouncing the presence of flannel workers for months.
The above, despite the fact that sanctions have recently been aggravated against those who set aside spaces on public roads, and illegally charge fees for their use as parking, however, this practice is even tolerated in the aforementioned market.
