A teenager fatally stabbed in a town centre car park has been named by police as Mohammed Afzal.
Paramedics rushed to Market Street in Bury shortly before 9pm on Friday, where the 19-year-old, known to friends and family as Isa, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Despite efforts to save him, he sadly died from his injuries.
Greater Manchester Police have arrested three 19-year-old men on suspicion of murder. All remain in custody as detectives continue to investigate the incident.
One of the arrests took place at Manchester Airport at 4.30am on Sunday, while the other two suspects were detained in Bolton and Bury late on Saturday night.

DCI John Charlton said: ‘This was a violent and tragic incident that was witnessed by a lot of people.’
He continued: ‘This incident will have shocked the community and distressed anyone who witnessed it, but we believe this was a targeted attack with no wider threat.’
DCI Charlton added: ‘Our officers will be in the area today and over the next few days as we try to establish what happened in the lead-up to this awful incident.
‘We also have specialist officers supporting the family at this difficult time.’
