Christina Applegate, Ed Helms, Skyler Gisondo, and Steele Stebbins in Vacation (2015) Titles: Vacation People: Christina Applegate, Ed Helms, Skyler Gisondo, Steele Stebbins
Hopping into the charts this week is this 2015 continuation of the National Lampoon’s franchise, with Ed Helms starring as the original film’s Rusty Griswold, now all grown-up, married to Debbie (Christina Applegate) and taking his own kids on the sort of chaotic road trip he used to take with his own parents. Its anarchic antics and madcap humour weren’t too popular with critics but it was a hit with audiences – and if you’ve seen any of the other National Lampoon’s movies you’ll know what to expect here.
