The countryside loses 40 million pesos due to rains in the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro

The field sector in the Sierra Gorda recorded losses of up to 40 million pesosdue to past rains October 9 and 10reported the Government of Querétaro.

He announced that support from the federal government will be sought for the reconstruction of the 300 kilometers of roads of the Sierra Gorda that were affected by the rains.

Schools still closed in Sierra Gorda de Querétaro

The Secretary of Education from Querétaro, Martha Elena Soto Obregónannounced that five public basic education schools in the Sierra Gorda are still closed, after suffering damage due to the rains that were recorded two weeks ago.

He explained that there are two schools in San Joaquín, two more in Pinal de Amoles and one more in Landa de Matamoros, all with structural damage, therefore, there are no conditions for them to return to their activities at this time.

He noted that a census will be carried out of the schools that were affected, to determine the actions that will have to be carried out.

He indicated that the 800 students in these affected schools maintain distance activities, which are mainly preschoolers.

No fuel

Meanwhile, Kuri González reported that nine municipalities in Querétaro registered gasoline shortages since the weekend.
