The F1 driver, Pato O’Ward, will be sponsored by El Deforma

The amount of the agreement was not disclosed.

Pista Nopalera.- Pato O’Ward, McLaren’s new Formula 1 driver, will be sponsored by El Deforma for the 2025-2026 season.

What started this morning as a rumor ended up being confirmed by both the driver’s team and the media itself.

“We are proud that Pato represents our brand during the Mexican Grand Prix and those to come”declared the director of El Deforma, visibly excited and wearing a recycled cardboard helmet.

To celebrate the agreement, Pato wore a guayabera very similar to the ones Noroña wears, but with the logo of the national media, confirming that the promotion is already underway.

“From now on, I will always wear a uniform with the El Deforma cactus for luck,” explained the pilot while showing off his patriotic clothing.

The news shook both the sports world and the stock market, immediately provoking speculation about what the amount of the agreement would have been, which could range “from memes to in-kind sponsorship.”

For his part, Checo Pérez has not commented on the matter, although close people assure that the man from Guadalajara has feelings for the media and that, in the future, he will refuse to give interviews until there are also sponsorship approaches with him.
